Monthly Event Recap

Gulf Power sponsored October's First Friday Breakfast which featured the kick-off of Walton County's United Way Campaign. Representatives from area United Way supported agencies discussed their organizations' activities which are underwritten by United Way funds. Chuck Lawlor (State Farm Insurance) spoke of the programs the North Walton YMCA provides for our area's youth.

Sponsored by and held at Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort, the First Friday Luncheon featured a presentation on the latest resort development at Sandestin, The Village at Baytown Wharf. Vance Askew, Vice President of Development talked about the plans for the pedestrian village on the Bay which will include upscale shops, restaurants and bistros, and residential homes.

Bayou Ann's Crab House hosted the Chamber's September Business After Hours.
