I hope you are planning to attend our Annual Meeting on October 7 to hear about the exciting plans the Chamber has for our upcoming year. But, before we head into next year, I would like to extend my personal appreciation as well as the gratitude on behalf of the membership to Joyce Szilvasy for the leadership she has provided for our organization this past year. As you read in her comments, she certainly invested a lot of time and effort in helping the Chamber continue its growth as the business organization for Walton County.

Additionally, thanks go to our retiring board members for their service to the Chamber's membership: Gus Andrews (Abbott & Andrews Realty), J. David Holder, Rachel Thomas (Nations Bank) and our former President, Connie McFarland (Seaside Town Council). I am honored to serve as your President during this upcoming exciting year. Explore the option of becoming actively involved in the Chamber and you will most certainly share our excitement.
