Karen Pfleiger Salon in Uptown Grayton celebrated their opening with Ambassadors, family and friends holding a Ribbon Cutting on June 18. The full service salon is operated by nationally recognized Karen Pfleiger.

The medical offices of Dr. Joseph Barnes opened in July and the Chamber's Ambassadors were on hand to help with a Ribbon Cutting during their open house on July 14. The office is located in Santa Rosa Village Shopping Center on Highway 98 in Santa Rosa Beach.

Silver Sands Factory Stores formally dedicated their Phase V expansion on July 22 with a Ribbon Cutting and reception. Walton County Chamber's Executive Director Pamela Tedesco was on hand to deliver keynote remarks on the positive impact shopping and tourism have on our local economy. With the expansion, Silver Sands is now the nation's largest designer factory outlet center with over 500,000 square feet.

Ambassadors and Board members helped the owners and staff of Kentucky Fried Chicken celebrate their grand opening with a Ribbon Cutting ceremony on Friday, July 23. The restaurant is located on Highway 331 just south of I-10.

Assisted Living Concepts/Stanley House held a Ribbon Cutting on August 16 with Ambassadors, Board members, family and friends joining the staff and residents sharing in the celebration. Stanley House is located at 718 Walton Rd. in DeFuniak Springs.

The Chamber's Ambassadors and Board members were extra busy on July 16 celebrating three Ribbon Cuttings for member businesses. L. Pizitz & Co., in Seaside, features a wide array of home decorating items (top). Seaside's 4 KIDS is a child's dream come true with everything from dresses, toys, and music tapes to beach toys and TY Beanie Babies (middle). If it's a big appetite that needs to be satisfied, Las Palmas Cafe & Bakery in Seagrove (right) can meet the challenge with their diverse menu of Mexican and Cuban items.
