Chamber Reduces Expenses Through Purchase of Vehicle

With the increased focus on member and community interaction, the Chamber's Board of Directors decided to purchase a vehicle. "The size of our service area and the milage expenses we were beginning to incur made it an easy decision," said Chamber President Joyce Szilvasy (CHELCO). "The expense of the car is less than what we were paying staff in milage reimbursements. And, with the signage on the side of the car, the community can readily see the presence of the Chamber throughout the area." The magnetic door signs were made and contributed to the Chamber by S.O.S. Printing and Office Supply.

The 1997 Oldsmobile was purchased from Triangle Chevrolet-Buick-Olds in DeFuniak Springs.
