Nearly 40 Ambassadors, Board members and other member volunteers participated in the Chamber's first Operation Thank You! on Wednesday, June 2. The one-day event involved personally hand-delivering the Chamber's new Business Directory and Visitors' Guide and new County map to all of our Chamber members.

"It was so rewarding to be able to thank our members face-to-face for their support of the Chamber and to let them know that we welcome their input," said Lake/Bay Ambassador Chairman Mona Johnson of Crown Investment Properties. "We were able to not only get the Directories and maps into the hands of our members, but we also gave our members the reassurance that the Chamber is here for them."

Concluding the day's activities, the Operation Thank You volunteers relaxed and shared feedback with each other and Chamber staff at the Debriefing Session. Refreshments were sponsored by Chautauqua Winery, Delchamps and First American Bank.

The Chamber, with SEE Magazine, produced and will distribute 10,000 copies of the directory/visitors' guide in response to relocation and vacation information requests. Extra copies of the publication can be picked up at either Chamber office.
