Majestic Sun at Seascape Resort Breaks Ground

Destin Developers, builders, bankers, real estate agents, and others marked the start of a new condominium resort at a ceremonial ground breaking Tuesday, May 4, 1999. With more than 248 units - $65 million in sales-reserved or under contract, Florida Condos One, broke ground on its new 356 unit Majestic Sun condominium on Old Hwy. 98 at Seascape Resort. Tops;l Helen Drake tourney a successful fund-raiser Charity event raises $2,500 for Caring & Sharing of South Walton

The recently held TOPS'L Helen Drake tennis tournament raised approximately $2,500 for Caring & Sharing of South Walton, exceeding its $2,000 total from last year's event.

With 210 participants from 14 different states, the tournament saw its largest adult field to date. TOPS'L Director of Tennis Woody Hoblitzell noted the event's growing popularity. "Because the field is so competitive and became a worthy cause is benefited, the Helen Drake just continues to grow," Hoblitzell said. "We were extremely pleased that the weather was so great and that the competition was exciting. It goes without saying that the money raised for Caring & Sharing is important to us all."
